Boy Scout Troop 763  was started in the spring of 1995 and since then we have met Sunday nights at the Elks Lodge #45 at the corner of I-295 and Nuckols Road in Glen Allen, VA. If interested in visiting our Troop at an upcoming meeting, please use the "Contact Us" form the "Menu" bar at the left to let us know.  We look forward to welcoming new scouts!

Our Mission is to have fun, be scout-lead, encourage advancement, provide regular opportunities for the completion of rank requirements, hold monthly outings, attend yearly summer camping opportunities, retain scouts both younger and older, maintain trained adult leaders, maintain a close connection to the Scout Oath and Law while being faithful to the BSA program.

Our Program includes many diverse outdoor activities:  camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, cycling, swimming, and cooking.  We provide opportunities for a varied experience, up to and including sending groups to the BSA National High Adventure Bases.

New Troop 763 COVID-19 Program Guidelines

Posted on Apr 9 2020 - 5:01pm

It has been awhile since we've been able to meet with the continued concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Court of Honor, Merit Badge Weekend, and several other events have been canceled or postponed. So, with guidance from the National and District offices, we would like to try to do what we can to get together (virtually), work on some Scout activities, and generally try to work together to deal with these strange and difficult times. Below is a general discussion of our plans for the Troop.
