Boy Scout Troop 763  was started in the spring of 1995 and since then we have met Sunday nights at the Elks Lodge #45 at the corner of I-295 and Nuckols Road in Glen Allen, VA. If interested in visiting our Troop at an upcoming meeting, please use the "Contact Us" form the "Menu" bar at the left to let us know.  We look forward to welcoming new scouts!

Our Mission is to have fun, be scout-lead, encourage advancement, provide regular opportunities for the completion of rank requirements, hold monthly outings, attend yearly summer camping opportunities, retain scouts both younger and older, maintain trained adult leaders, maintain a close connection to the Scout Oath and Law while being faithful to the BSA program.

Our Program includes many diverse outdoor activities:  camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, cycling, swimming, and cooking.  We provide opportunities for a varied experience, up to and including sending groups to the BSA National High Adventure Bases.

Elk's Flag Day Celebration

Posted on May 17 2021 - 9:23pm

Sunday June 6th 1:00 Elk's Lodge
The Elk's are asking for 10 scouts to assist with the annual Flag Day ritual at the lodge. The scouts would carry the flags, place them in holders and assist with putting them away. The scouts would be able to claim service hours for this event. There is not a lot that the Elk's ask of the troop, so this would be a nice time to offer our assistance. In the past, the event ended with a picnic-style lunch, but due to restrictions, we will skip that. The event shouldn't last more than an hour or so. We will get a sign-up going soon.
